ANNOUNCEMENTS APRIL 2020:
We encourage you to NOT DELAY your child's well child checks. Well child checks are important for every age. For those children 2 years and younger these appointments are critical. The CDC and State Health Dept continue to support children coming in for well child checks during this time.
We continue to only schedule well appointments in AM and sick appointments in PM. We will have you wait in your car until an exam room is open. Exam rooms are cleaned between every patient. Open normal hours Mon-Fri. Due to a significant decrease in patients needing appointments we have had to get creative with the providers schedule. We apologize if we had to reschedule your child's appointment due to the needed change in the schedule. We are trying to balance everything out and keep everyone safe and healthy.
We continue to be available for in office appointments and telehealth appointments (telehealth depends on reason for visit).
Change to check in procedure (Mon-Fri):
Wait in your car for your appointment. Call us when you arrive, 253-7640. If you do not have a phone, phone line is busy, or need to drop off/pick up paperwork, proceed to front desk. Saturdays - proceed to front desk.
We request that siblings do not accompany you to your child's appt when possible.
If you have an upcoming afternoon appt for a well child check or non-sick appt, we would like to reschedule your appt to the morning to limit your exposure to sick kids. Please call to reschedule if we have not contacted you. As always, we have a special time for newborns.
To minimize exposure, we are continuing to schedule well child checks and otherwise well patient appointments only in AM and sick patients only in PM. Exam rooms are cleaned thoroughly after every patient, well or sick. Please call if you would like to reschedule your visit for a later date.
Call us when you arrive and wait in your car. Please do not bring additional family members to appts.
Staff are being monitored closely for any symptoms. So far, so good.
Best prevention: frequent hand washing and avoid touching your face.
We are trying to limit exposure of well children to sick children as much as possible. Please limit extra family members or friends at appts. We request that you do not bring siblings that do not have an appt with you to your child's appt when possible. If you have a well child check scheduled in the afternoon in the next month, we are calling to see if you would like to move the appt to the AM to limit your exposure. Your chance of getting COVID-19 is currently low. Children are only 2% of confirmed reports worldwide and there have been no deaths in the pediatric population.
